Coaching Wisdom
When I grow up, I want to become a wise old man ;) A man who knows when to speak and when to be silent. A man who knows when to act and when to be still. A man who knows when to take a step forward and when to retreat.
As a coach it’s my life’s ambition to support people who want to discover their true self and live their lives in an authentic, positive and caring way.
In my humble opinion there are two basic world views; one based on trust and abundance and the other one based on fear and scarcity. As a coach I advocate the first view, I’m very much aware that we live in a world that seems to embrace the second one.
This brings me to the theme of this edition of our magazine: Coaching Wisdom. What can we, as coaches, do to make the world a little bit wiser? My answer is to keep doing what we’re doing best; supporting our coachees in their personal and professional development. Help them to live their dreams by manifesting their ambitions, their needs and their wants and transform those into actionable plans. Help them to discover their innate wisdom so that they, in turn, make this world a little bit wiser.
Our wonderful contributors did an awesome job addressing this theme in their articles. Each and every one of them voluntarily share their wisdom and help to make this world a better place to live in.
As this year comes to a close I sincerely want to thank them for their amazing work and you, dear reader, for allowing us to enter your minds and hearts!
