Executive Coaching for Senior Leaders

Senior leaders operating in Fortune 500 and FTSE 100 organisations face a specific kind of challenge — one that technical skill and operational expertise alone cannot solve. The complexity is relational, political, and personal. The decisions are consequential. And the margin for error shrinks the higher you go.

This is the territory where executive coaching adds its greatest value. Not by providing answers, but by creating the conditions in which you develop the clarity, courage, and capability to find your own.
Who This Is For
QCI's executive coaching is designed for leaders who have already achieved a high level of success and are ready to perform at an even higher level. Typically this includes:

-
C-suite executives (CEO, COO, CFO, CHRO, CTO) navigating transformation or transition
-
Senior Vice Presidents and Directors stepping into expanded leadership roles
-
High-potential leaders being prepared for board-level or global responsibilities
-
Leaders operating across multiple geographies and cultural contexts
-
Executives dealing with complex stakeholder environments, organisational politics, or underperforming teams
If you are already good at what you do and want to become exceptional — this is for you.
What Makes QCI Different
A background unlike any other coach
Ton de Graaf spent years in military police and airforce — environments where vague thinking and comfortable assumptions are not options. That discipline underpins every coaching engagement. Clients don't get reassurance. They get precision, directness, and a partner who will ask the questions others avoid.
Twenty + years at the top
Since 2004, Ton has coached senior leaders in some of the world's most demanding organisations — Bayer, Philips, McKesson, Brown-Forman, ING Bank and many others — across more than 30 countries. That depth of exposure means he understands the reality of senior leadership: the pressure, the isolation, the competing demands, and the moments that define a career.
Outcomes, not hours
QCI coaching is measured by what changes, not how many sessions were completed. Clients consistently describe not just improved performance, but a fundamental shift in how they see themselves as leaders — a transformation that outlasts the formal engagement and continues to compound over time.
How It Works
Every engagement begins with a thorough discovery conversation — not a sales call. Ton takes time to understand your context, your goals, and the specific challenges you are navigating before any coaching begins.

From there, engagements are tailored to your situation. Most executive coaching programmes run over six to twelve months, with sessions structured around your schedule and delivered in person or virtually, wherever you are in the world.

Where appropriate and with your agreement, Ton may also work with stakeholders in your organisation — direct reports, peers, or board members — to ensure the coaching delivers impact at the systemic level, not just the individual.
All engagements are strictly confidential.
Common Focus Areas
While every engagement is unique, the themes that emerge most frequently in QCI executive coaching include:

-
Strategic clarity and prioritisation — cutting through complexity to identify what matters most
-
Executive presence and influence — communicating with authority and commanding the room
-
Decision-making under pressure — building the mental discipline to act decisively in high-stakes situations
-
Leading organisational change — navigating transformation without losing team cohesion
-
Managing boards and senior stakeholders — building trust and credibility at the highest levels
-
Transitioning into a new senior role — accelerating impact in the first 90–180 days
-
Leadership identity — understanding who you are as a leader and what you stand for
“I’ve worked with many coaches over my career. Ton de Graaf stands apart because he doesn’t just listen: he challenges. He pushed me to think bigger and act bolder. The results speak for themselves.”
